can you bring video camera on Summit Plummet?

I have a waterproof, small video camera. Will they give me any crap for trying to take this on the ride with me?

If they see it, they won't let you take it. It is considered a safety hazard. I know you think you can control it, but I really wouldn't recommend. Just one wrong bump could send it flying and injure you or others.

Which rugged digital camera is best?

So I just went to bestbuy and they have in the new olympus stylus touch 6000 and it seems like a good deal. for $299 its waterproof, shock proof and freeze proof. Reviews say it isnt a bad rugged digital cam but a lot of them suggest other rugged camera's instead but I didnt see any other ones at bestbuy. Anyone have any thoughts on it? Maybe personal experience with rugged cameras? I actually found the olympus for $263 online.

What would be the best waterproof digital camera for me?

I definatly want a small point and shoot one, I dont want it to stand out above the water. I would like it to be no more than $250. I have been looking at the Olympus 1030 SW , the Pentax W60, and the Fujifilm Z33wp, out of those which would give me the least problems? Also, if you know of other good quality small waterproof cameras please let me know! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

i plan on getting a new camera for my trip to hawaii next month, and since snorkeling is so great there, i would like to take underwater photos. what are my underwater camera case options? all the canon underwater cases are about 250$. total ripoff. is there something i can get for around 60$?

If you think $250 is a ripoff, you would hate to buy one for a DSLR They can cost over $3,500.

I don't know about any underwater camcorders, but the Stylus also lets you record, but I'm sure its only for a limited amount of time.
