How can high school sports be rewarding to students in the present and future ?
Many sports injuries are minor, such as sprains. But doctors say they are seeing an increase in overuse injuries,stress fractures, tendanitis, bursitis and chronic pain syndromes.
But im looking at the positive side of students playing sports like the fact that they are more fit in High School and as they get older they are less likely to become obese, which is the number one problem in the U.S.
But what how else do you think High School sports can be rewarding besides keeping students fit ?
What is sport? It is a situation where Person A competes with Person B and the best person wins, while someone comes second. However eventually if the person who comes second raises their attitude, trains, then the chances are they will beat the same person next time around. Likewise Team A plays Team B and one teams wins, while the other team comes second. Likewise if the team who came second raises their standards, then they might be winners next time around.
In School sport is not about fitness, its about how to compete, how to be a winner and how to be a looser, if the person likes one to one situations, or if they are a Team player. All that life has to offer can be found in sport, from being the individual, the outsider, to being a team player, working in a team. To winning gracefully and loosing gracefully, to having the right attitude, personality, to accept defeat and strive for perfection.
Most employment situations will have the same attributes as Sport, and that is why sport is rewarding, even if you cannot hit a ball, let alone catch a ball.

Original Book
After watching a movie adaptation, do you get interested in reading the original book version?
If not, what prevents you from it?
Yeah if i enjoy a film i do get interested in reading the original book, as usually the book versions are better.
(although i do prefer the pet sematary film to the book, and also the i am legend film has a better ending that the book version.)
However, sometime’s i’ll read the wikipedia entry for the book and decide i prefer the film version so don’t bother reading the book, or i’ll forget about it, or just don’t get around to buying the book.
If the films boring, then i won’t get interesting in reading the book, or if i really enjoy the film and like the ending i won’t read the book incase it’s different.

Photo Repair Directions
No Appointment Necessary
Car owners who once ignored small windshield chips and cracks caused by a flying stone have learned even the smallest chip or crack can spread over an entire car windshield, especially in very cold weather. After checking with my local dealership, an auto glass repair shop and my local tire company, I found all three offered windshield repair and replacement services. However, the local tire company was the only one where no appointment was necessary. During a quick phone conversation, the store manager also pointed out some additional advantages of having the repair done there.
- Unlike some other repair systems, the high-tech liquid resin and UV light system used requires no waiting or drying time.
- Most chips and cracks less than a quarter in diameter could be repaired in less than 25 minutes.
- If full replacement was necessary, mobile service was also available, just in case I was too busy to have it done at the store.
- Whether I needed a repair or replacement, the store manager also offered to contact my insurance company to see if any deductible might be waived, so a repair might actually require little or no out of pocket expense on my part.
Safety
Both the auto glass repair shop and my local tire company assured me that any repair or replacement would be made to Auto Glass Repair Safety Standards (AGRSS). Both use top quality Original Equipment products or Original Equipment Equivalent replacement glass products.
Technicians at both stores also receive extensive training and use the latest equipment to ensure every glass repair or replacement is made to the highest quality factory and national safety standards. After all, a faulty repair or improper windshield replacement could become a serious safety hazard. The windshield is an essential part of every vehicle’s driver and occupant safety system. In the event of an impact, it allows the airbags to deploy in the correct position. It also prevents you and your family from being ejected from the vehicle during a serious collision. And, in the event of a rollover, the windshield also helps keep the roof from crushing in on you and your passengers. In fact, the windshield provides up to 45% of the cabin’s structural integrity during a frontal or side impact, and up to 60% in a rollover accident.
Convenience Plus
Even if I didn’t know where to go for a windshield repair or replacement, my tire company offered more locations in my area to have it done. A quick check on the Internet offered me a choice of fifteen different store locations within ten miles of my home. My dealership service department is within that ten mile area but required a service appointment. A national auto glass repair chain offered seven locations within a ten mile area, but also required I make a service appointment.
Another feature I appreciated on the tire company web site was that, after entering my zip code, I was given a list that included the address, phone number, driving distance, store hours and a hot link to each location. A click on the hot link then showed me an exterior photo of the store and also offered a mapping function to help me plan the most efficient driving route from my home directly to the store. In addition, my tire discount also offered a battery check service, free tire inspection and complimentary multi-point vehicle inspection to ensure my car would be ready for even the most severe winter driving.
According to the National Glass Association, over 4 million damaged windshields are repaired annually. So, know you options. Know where to go for no appointment necessary, high quality and convenient windshield repair or replacement before that chip or crack in your windshield turns into a more serious and more expensive problem.

What type of camera Grey’s Anatomy filmed with?
I work for a production company and I am just wondering what they shoot in (digital or film) and what brand and model of camera they typically use to shoot? I haven’t been able to find it online so any help would be great!

“Film has been essentially shut out of the market because of the producers’ insistence on going with AFTRA. The AFTRA contract is for electronic cinematography. So automatically, when you enter into an AFTRA agreement, you have to use a digital camera.”

Made Easy Training
How can I make potty training easy???
My daughter is going to be 2 next month. Ever since she was about 16 months she has been going potty on the toilet…but NOT consistantly. NOW she is to the point where she refuses to wear a diaper. She takes them off alllll day long. I bought pull ups and she takes them off as well. She loves being in her big girl undies but she forgets to tell me when she needs to go. With my first she was with a babysitter while I worked so she potty trained her for me…so I have not gone through this yet!!
I don’t know what more I can do. I know that she is ready but what more should I be doing?
Lose the diapers and go with trainers or panties so she can feel the wetness. Invest in some “Bac-out” cleaner to use on carpets, etc. Most importantly, don’t stress and don’t use shame or punishment when she has a miss…she’s learning about her body and if she’s been in disposable dipes, there has been no wetness to feel. Have her help you clean up the misses and put the wet panties in the hamper. I do “elimination communication” with my 17 month old and she already helps with clean up (enjoys it, actually).
