Digital Camera Color vs. Price?

You just found the camera that you want on sale, but it isn't in color that your happy about. How much money would you need to save before you buy the camera in the color you don’t like?

Example: You want a black, or silver camera, but the one you find is pink. If you save $10 would you just think, “forget it” and get the pink? $20 or $30 or $???

Normally camera color is a very minor issue in choosing a camera. Fortunately so far all the cameras I've bought are marketed to the more "serious" part of the market, so they mostly come in black (or grey metal). Unfortunately I have to admit I would probably pay whatever they asked to escape a pink camera and the stigma that comes with it. For any other color I probably save the $10 and take the cheaper option.

Does the Canon 1200 camera have the color accent swap feature?

I have seen many Canon cameras have a feature where photo is black and white except for one color- does the 1200 model have it? Is this a better camera then the new Samsung Dual view camera?

Do color contact lens cause red-eye in photographs?

In every single photograph taken of me I have red eye. I wear color contact lenses and was wondering if this could be the reason why it always happens. In my camera I enable the red-eye reduction filter and it works really well for me, however I always seem to get red-eye when other people take photos.

I know red-eye has to do with light reflection off of the eye (sorry, not an expert) and I wouldn't be surprised if even regular contacts caused this to happen.

Oh and my contacts are not tinted-red

The red eye you see in pictures is caused by the flash in the camera reflecting off the back of your eye where there's all the blood vessels. I notice it especially in people with blue eyes for some reason, but usually it's caused by poor quality flash, or just a flash that's at the wrong angle or at the wrong timing.

Your colored contacts or any other contacts should have absolutely nothing to do with it =)

is Bourne Ultimatum going to be all stupid camera shake movie??

i was a big fan of bourne identity..and when in 2004 bourne superemacy released i gathered 4 of my friend .. travel 20 kilometers and waited in line for 40 minutes before get in theatre..and all i got a stupid camera shake movie..you couldnt see a thing..all my friends were pissed off at me..that i was the reason to spend their hard earned money..my question is..why you go to shoot a scene when you are not going to show it to the viewer..in all that movie whenever an action scene comes some 3 years old kid holds the camera and shows someones feet and someones ears..what the F*** was that..is it really cool to have camerashakes..that you spend millions of dollors on filmrolls because some jerkhead is your DOP..is this next film be like it too..??..and can I SUE them if i dont like to waste my money on **camerashakes**..please be my guest..

I don't know about the camera work in Ultimatum, but I'm 100% with you on all of the shaky camera shots in much of today's film. Where are all the beautifully composed major motion pictures of today? Who will take up the slack left by great visual directors like Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock, or Sergio Leone?

It's really sad to see movies that cost hundreds of millions of dollars that look like a second rate MTV video recorded on a camcorder. In my opinion, that's a lot of money wasted just so your film can look like an episode of NYPD Blue.

Whats the best Verizon cell phone for a 15 year old girl?

Yeah I dont have a cell yet and I'm a freshman! Yes, it sucks balls.

But for me to get one I have to pay for the bill and for the phone for now, until my dad's business kicks off and we have a lotttt more money. And I dont want to wait extra months till then cause we're moving to another state so I wanna get all my friends numbers and stuff and get used to talking and texting on the phone with them!

I want unlimited texting (those cells that have like keyboard things, not like a number with ABC on it.), a nice camera that can also do videos, internet, games, cute little things like that. I dont want the EN v though cause like everyone has it, or the voyager. i liked the Dare but its too expensive and i dont like how its only touch screen.

It is a slideout full keyboard qwerty cameraphone. It is going for $99. You can buy it at most Best Buys, Targets and Radio Shacks I think . Or you can buy it online. But online they charge you activation fee of $25 . Best Buy doesn't. It is a prepaid phone so you can get a prepaid plan. You can't use it on regular Verizon plan, only prepaid for six months. Then you can use it on regular Verizon.

Order one of their talk plans on Verizon Inpulse prepaid online. Pay it with a topup prepaid card you can also pickup at Best Buy or wherever you pick up the Blitz. You use that to buy your minutes/texts/internet online at Verizon prepaid Inpulse.

Order one of the four plans they have. The only plan with no daily access fee is the basic one at 25 cents a minute. They have three others with access fees so you have to pay that amount every day as soon as you talk on the phone. But the talk rates are much cheaper for everything after the first minute.. The 99 cents access plan is 10 cents a minute talk.

The 1.99 is 5 cents a minute. The unlimited is expensive at 3.99 for talk.You don't pay the access fees on the day you don't use it.

Internet is unlimited for 24 hours at a dollar a day . You don't pay on the days you don't use it.

Get their $20 a month unlimited messaging package. This is sweet. It gives you UNLIMITED text, picture, instant and video messaging for that amount for a full month.

The phone comes with $10 free starter airtime I believe. You have to put at least $15 in the account every month to keep your number active. You can port a number into Verizon prepaid. You used to not be able to but they finally allow it now.

Since you have to pay and you're a teen ( teens are per capita the HEAVIEST texters, that's a fact) I'd focus more on the unlimited messaging package then the voice minutes. Verizon's voice minutes can be kind of high.

Their coverage is MUCH better then before because they just merged with Alltel. The old Verizon prepaid had BIG gaps in it compared to regular Verizon, but they have filled much of that up.

If you stick mostly to texting and messaging and don't talk much and pick the right talk plan, you can probably keep it affordable for yourself. After all, it's your money.
