Only IXUS 60 users reply why my camera IXUS 60 gives me warm sensation on frontal rightside of camera body?
Is it dangerous for the camera even Camera's Advanced User manual says,"If the camera is used for prolonged periods, the camera body may become warm. Please be aware of this and take care when operating the camera for an extended period." Usually i find Camera battery is warm then frontal rightside of camera also gives me warm sensation is it abnormal? Please only Cannon IXUS 60 users reply.
No, it is normal for the camera/battery to get warm when used for extended periods. Although, I would be specially cautious if I am using a generic brand battery - there have been reports of explosions involving counterfeit batteries.
